It is with mixed emotions this month that we had to say goodbye to Sarah our longest serving Client Business Manager who has been part of our family business for over 10 years.

Sarah was more than just a member of the team, she was part of the family and it has been great to work with her over the years, watching her grow personally and professionally. Being an employer gives us the unique privilege to experience those special moments in the lives of our team and for Sarah we loved watching her get onto the property ladder with her first home, where she then met Shaun (her next-door neighbour and now partner), before welcoming their firstborn son Harry and most recently last year welcoming their second son Jack.

I also believe that it is our responsibility as employers to help our team members strive for bigger and better things and to support them in achieving their personal goals. This meant I was so excited when Sarah told me that she had decided to set up her own beauty therapist business from home so she could spend more time with Harry and Jack, whilst doing something she really loves. Of course there was some sadness at the realisation that Sarah would no longer be coming into work anymore and would not be returning from her maternity leave, but we couldn’t be prouder of Sarah for taking the leap and doing something that takes an enormous amount of courage and conviction in the pursuit of achieving her personal dreams.

On Saturday 8th April we wanted to send Sarah off in style and after having a great team day at the spa, we had a lovely meal out at TGI Friday’s which involved several cocktails and maybe one or two shots to say goodbye, but also to wish Sarah the best of luck with her new and exciting venture.

We will of course keep everyone updated with regards to Sarah’s progress and when her new business is launched I know she would be delighted to look after any of our clients with some beauty treatments, so if you do want Sarah’s contact details please just let us know and we will send these on to you.

In the meantime, we have to look forward and make sure that we continue to deliver fantastic customer service to all of our Clients and it’s been great in the last month to also welcome Ash our new trainee Estate Planner into the business and I’m sure there’ll be lots of exciting things to come from him in the next few months (so watch this space).
